Tax Preparation Assistance for Low and Moderate Income Families and Individuals

Low income and moderate income taxpayers can get free tax preparation and filing through these Providence Volunteer Income Tax Assistance sites. We are waiting for the current list of these locations. In the meantime you can call 211 for a location.

Tax Advocate

In brief...If you have tried to resolve a tax problem with the IRS and are still experiencing delays or are facing financial difficulty you may request the assistance of the Taxpayer Advocate. There is at least one Taxpayer Advocate in each state. The Taxpayer Advocate can be your voice at the IRS and the service is FREE.
