Living Literature and the Rochambeau Readers join forces for a presentation and discussion of the Reading Across Rhode Island selection for 2017, Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption, by Bryan Stevenson.

The presentation features Artistic Director, Barry Press, along with Jo-án Peralta, and Marc Berry, telling the unforgettable true story about the redeeming potential of mercy. Bryan Stevenson was a gifted young attorney when he founded Equal Justice Initiative, a legal practice dedicated to defending the poor, the wrongly condemned, and those trapped in the furthest reaches of our criminal justice system.

Living Literature is a part of the The EnRICHment Program, which supports the Reading Across Rhode Island program.

This program is free and open to the public, and is designed for both those who have and have not read the book.
