A talk and workshop with Dr. Alan Post

The scientific community has recently been exploring the use of meditation for healing. Join Dr. Alan Post, a long time meditator, as he discusses the extraordinary effectiveness of meditation to reduce stress-related responses, improve concentration, enhance clarity of thought and mental equilibrium. He will also present a simple, time tested meditation technique. There will be a short meditation sitting as well. Join Dr. Post for this engaging and lively lecture.

Alan R. Post D.C, is a chiropractic physician who holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and graduated with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1982. He has a post graduate certification in acupuncture. 

Dr. Post is an integrative medicine program consultant. He is active in the current health care reform process, participating on a number of committees as both a member and a presenter. Dr. Post maintains two active patient care practices in RI and has received numerous awards for his professional service. He has been meditating since 1976 and contributed a chapter to a collaborative work titled Meditation as Medication for the Soul, by best selling author Rajinder Singh.
