We just passed the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, and the world celebrated. He was a ground-breaking composer who took the musical world by storm. In this presentation we learn about his upbringing and early years (all of which carved the volatile person he later became), his experiences in later life that influenced his music, and of course his amazing gifts to the world. Ludwig grew up in the Classical period but ushered in the Romantic period, which he had a very large part in creating. He was a colossus.
