Announcing the 2017 Bilingual Young Author Story-Writing Contest!

PCL invites children ages 6-12 to write and illustrate an original story in English and Spanish, decorate a cover and then submit the completed work as an entry into PCL’s annual bilingual story-writing contest.  The Library is offering free writing and illustration workshops to inspire the young authors and artists.  The closing date for entries is April 13.

Prizes will be awarded in three age categories: 6-8 years, 9-10 years and 11-12 years. Winners of the contest will receive their prizes at a special event at Knight Memorial Library celebrating El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros (Children’s Day/Book Day)on April 29 from 2:00PM-5:00P.M.
