This event provides activities and readings for children based on the book Greña / Crazy Hair. Kianny Antigua describes it as "a book for first readers, tiny in size, but big on topics such as self-love, personal acceptance and love of our roots."
The author, who was born in the Dominican Republic, teaches Spanish and creative writing at Crossroads Academy (Lyme, NH) and Dartmouth College. She has published several books of short stories and poems. Many of her stories have won awards and been anthologized. This event is suitable for children/families ages 2-7 years.
