If it's January, it's time for FUNDA Fest, the annual, statewide festival of storytelling from the Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS). FUNDA means to teach and learn in Zulu and KiSwahili. From January 26 - February 2, adults and children will be able to experience some of the best cultural arts programming across Rhode Island at venues that include schools, community and cultural arts centers, libraries and theatres.

If it's January, it's time for FUNDA Fest, the annual, statewide festival of storytelling from the Rhode Island Black Storytellers. Once again, PCL will be hosting several FUNDA Fest events, at the following dates and times:
A new season of English as a Second Language (ESL) classes (click on link for full list of locations, dates and times) will start in January at Knight Memorial, Mount Pleasant, Olneyville, Rochambeau, Smith Hill and Washington Park. Cathren Housley, an award-winning artist and illustrator and a graduate of RISD's Children's Book Illustration Program, has been been teaching workshops at PCL since 2013. Her current workshop series, Maker's Box Recycled, encourages youth to utilize various recycled items to create fun works of art.
