The goal is to increase understanding, at a personal level, of the impacts that race has on each of our lives, for both white people and people of color.

PVD Young Makers will host its first ever Make-A-Thon in partnership with PVDFest and the PVD Mini Maker Faire (formerly Rhode Island Mini Maker Faire) at City Hall.  With a sub-theme of Make-a-Kinder Providence, teams of youth will design, build and develop ideas to improve the quality of life in the city.
