PCL is pleased to announce that Knight Memorial Library will remain open all summer! Due to recent upgrades to the historic building, the library will remain open to the public during the warmest weeks of the year. PCL began an extensive, multistage renovation of Knight Memorial in 2018, which includes updates to mechanical and electrical systems required to support the eventual installation of a full HVAC system throughout the building.

Join others in the local community for the first in a series of meaningful conversations about race, white privilege and power, and the defensiveness and divisions that have become part of the fabric of American society. The goal is to increase understanding, at a personal level, of the impacts that race has on each of our lives, for both white people and people of color.
Visit the PCL booth at RI PrideFest in Providence on Saturday, June 15. We'll offer fun activities, an LGBTQ+ book raffle and storytimes on the hour! Come and say hi!
