PCL READS Kicks Off 2021 With Three Exciting Virtual Events!

December 18, 2020 - 2:54pm -- publicity

PCL READS kicks off 2021 with three exciting virtual events hosted by a book-loving band of librarians across our neighborhood libraries!

RI author Vanessa Lillie joins us at Olneyville Library in January to discuss For the Best, "a thrilling read that rises beyond genre to include explorations of social justice, racism, trauma, and addiction" (The Providence Journal).

South Providence Library partners with Rhode Island Center for the Book in February for an author talk with Tochi Onyebuchi, whose first adult fiction title, Riot Baby, is a companion read for the 2021 Reading Across Rhode Island selection.

In March, we travel to Wanskuck Library and get back to basics with a cozy book discussion about H is for Hawk, the critically acclaimed, genre-defying book about Helen Macdonald's story of adopting and raising one of nature's most vicious predators.

Just click on the book titles above for free registration to all three events.
