Providence Community Library is excited to present 2020's Family Fringe event, on Saturday, July 25, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. This year's Family Fringe, like the main festival, will be a virtual event. Family Fringe is affiliated to the annual Fringe PVD Festival, hosted by The Wilbury Theatre Group. Since 2014, Fringe PVD highlights performing artists who provide fearless and affordable theater for the city, while Family Fringe celebrates the children and families in the city. All of this year's Family Fringe virtual events are entirely free.
It will be of no surprise to discover that PCL library staff have put together a fun and absorbing lineup of presentations to enlighten, delight, and educate the families of Providence. Join a robot on a quest for love(!), make a beautiful piece of folded book art, enjoy a bilingual storytime, get crafty with recycled materials, a multimedia performance featuring a stop-motion tiger, or be caught up in the drama of a Reader's Theater presentation. Each program is just 20 minutes' long and suitable for viewers of all ages on Zoom. For a full description and for program times, see the schedule. To enjoy more virtual programs by our talented presenters in the meantime, visit and subscribe to PCL's YouTube Channel.
