ACN1077 Animation: Light, Color & Technology

Work in small groups to make stop motion animations using a variety of techniques and materials, including clay, whiteboards, cut paper, sand and more. In the process of making animation, learn about the physics of sound, light, color, electricity and more through hands-on experimentation. No prior science or art/animation experience necessary!
This program furthers STEAM education, which is increasingly important for the jobs of the future. The creative problem solving skills students will learn will serve them in all aspects of life.

ACN1083 Digital Design & Manufacturing
Monday to Friday, July 23 - August 17 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Future Lab introduces digital design & fabrication skills and techniques to students while having FUN! The first week is based around workshops where students will be able to develop design skills by working on machines such as a vinyl cutter, 3D printer and sewing machines. The second week will be focused around a studio challenge where each student will use these skills to develop a product to solve a real life challenge.
