The Story of a Novel: Hilary Salk Book Talk and Publication Party

Rhode Island author author Hilary Salk discusses her recent novel Eavesdropping in Oberammergau with Carol Shelton. The plot concerns a Jewish-American child, Alison, the daughter of a United States officer stationed in Oberammergau  three years after the Holocaust.Based in part on a true story, Alison narrates her discoveries of the village's contribution to Nazi hatred of the Jewish people despite Oberammergau's fame for its holy Passion Play, performed every ten years since 1634. Refreshments will be served.
