November 5 1:00PM-1:40PM
The RI Festival of Children's Books and Authors is going virtual but staying local this year. The Festival will partner with local nonprofits and PCL is proud to host an event on Thursday, November 5 at 1:00PM featuring local author, Anika Denise. Anika's new book, A Girl Named Rosita, launches on November 3rd and the author will answer questions about her work. The event will be introduced by Library Director, Cheryl Space.
This daytime festival event is designed to stimulate discussion in school classrooms, libraries and learning pods around the state. Thanks to Raising Readers in RI, a limited number of copies of A Girl Named Rosita will be available for distribution.
