Let's Make COMICS at PCL!


In this month-long comics workshop, kids will submerge into visionary sketchbook games, character creation, non-photo blue pencilling & inking pages for a comic-zine anthology that they get to take home at the end!

This program is free and open to school-aged children. Please register in advance by contacting the library.

The Providence Comics Consortium (PCC) started in 2010 as a series of comics workshops at the Providence Community Library, with a special emphasis on publishing DIY books that would be available for check out through the library system. Since then the PCC has created countless workshops, comic books, magazines, a novel and a book of short stories. Most recently the Consortium published "The Giant Book of Visionary Sketchbook Games."
