Providence Comics Consortium Activity Book & Workshop

Do you love COMICS? Do you enjoy spending time doing creative activities such as drawing, coloring and word and number games?

Then visit one of Providence Community Library's nine neighborhood locations and pick up a copy of Providence Comic Consortium's Drawing Game Activity Book!

The activity book is suitable for people of all ages and is the creation of Providence Comics Consortium's Walker Mettling. To get started, you'll need a copy of the activity book, slips of paper (included with the book in libraries), scissors and something to draw with.

Games and activities include "Crazy Surgeries," "Fantasy Monsters" and "Person With a Ton of Heads." Doesn't that sound fun? To help you get the most out of the Activity Book, join Walker online via Zoom on Thursday, January 21, 5:30pm - 6:30pm.

A video of this event will be available on PCL's YouTube Channel for later viewing.

If you can't get to a library to pick up an activity book, you can download and print the book and the paper slips.

Watch Comics Consortium: Blob Revelations! to see the activity book in action!

Providence Comics Consortium publishes comics by kids and adult artists. It has been making books and holding workshops at Providence Community Library since December 2010. Happy 10th anniversary! Providence Comics Consortium and Providence Community Library Drawing Game Activity Book project was made possible by Jay Bright and the United Way of Rhode Island's Summer in the Schoolyard Fund.
