Take the Challenge
Your mission is to ascend to the roof, step Over the Edge and rappel down the 12-story, 150 feet high Regency Plaza building in Providence. The valuable funds that you raise will take PCL's services to a new level and will pay for books, computers, exciting makerspace technology, innovative programming, and a whole lot more!

What is a minimum fundraising goal?
A minimum fundraising goal is the minimum amount you must raise to go Over the Edge for PCL. The basic fundraising minimum is $1000 but check out our Fearless Friends page for a special offer. For information about minimum fundraising goals for corporate teams, visit our Fearless Leaders page.

Providence Community Library (PCL) provides the people of Providence with a wealth of knowledge and free learning resources through its nine neighborhood locations. Its mission is to fight low literacy and lack of opportunity, raise reading scores and help more than 178,000 library users achieve their dreams. Last year, our library users
- Made 600,000 visits to PCL's nine neighborhood locations
- Attended 5,643 free arts and cultural programs
- Obtained 128,190 hours of use from 200 free public computers
When you Rappel for PCL, you support libraries that are at the heart of the neighborhoods of Providence and, potentially, reach every member of those communities.
