Why #RappelforPCL?

Providence Community Library (PCL) provides the people of Providence with a wealth of knowledge and free learning resources through its nine neighborhood locations. Its mission is to fight low literacy and lack of opportunity, raise reading scores and help more than 178,000 library users achieve their dreams. Last year, our library users

  • Made 600,000 visits to PCL's nine neighborhood locations
  • Attended 5,643 free arts and cultural programs
  • Obtained 128,190 hours of use from 200 free public computers

When you Rappel for PCL, you support libraries that are at the heart of the neighborhoods of Providence and, potentially, reach every member of those communities.
