1. Visit pvd.beanstack.com to log your reading, check out cool books and participate in fun programs. Complete the Summer Reading Challenge by reading 20 minutes a day for 40 days and be entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Watch this video to help you get started.
2. AND have fun with Passport to Summer Learning TAKEAWAY BAGS! These STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) themed activity bags are available weekly June 22 – Aug 14 through curbside pickup at any of the 9 Providence Commumity Libraries or Providence Public Library. Check our schedules Providence Community Library(the 9 neighbood libraries) or Providence Public Library(downtown library) and call to set up a pickup time.
Don't forget to get your Passport to Summer Learning! Check out and print the Passport now! Earn points and badges as a reward for participating in summer learning activities.

We have developed links to all kinds of fun learning activities and games. Simply click on the tab, look for the link for the grade level your child will be entering in September and explore the options available to you and your child throughout the summer. Start with one activity a day to start and see where it goes from there!

More to do: Check out Rhode Island Computer Museum's slate of virtual workshops for children as an introduction to coding. The workshops are free to all kids 10 & above. Participants would need a computer.
Many reading list titles are available to check out with your library card as ebooks through RI eZone and hoopla.
