Opening remarks/Palabras de apertura

at 10am by/por Honorary Co-Chairs RI Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea and/y Providence Mayor Jorge Elorza about the importance of Latinos in RI/sobre la importancia de los Latinos en RI.

Attractions for all ages including readings & book signings by Rhode Island-area Latino authors (for children, teens & adults), cultural performances, crafts for children, storytelling workshops, and film screenings.

Feria del Libro is presented by Providence Community Library and Providence College in partnership with the RI Center for the Book, Raising Readers in RI, Pawtucket Public Library and the City of Providence. It is funded in part by a generous grant from the City of Providence Department of Art Culture + Tourism.
