Your little thespian will be challenged in this class to use their acting skills of focus, physical, emotional expressiveness, memorization, and team work to create dramatic scenes for a final group performance for family and friends!

For ages 7-10! Registration required prior to the event.

About the Workshop Leader: Gladys Cole

Ever since Gladys first performed in her kindergarten class production of: The Cat in the Red Hen she fell in love with theatre. After receiving her AFA from the Community College of RI & BA in Theatre Performance from Rhode Island College, Gladys has performed throughout RI with numerous theatre companies including Mill River Dinner Theatre, Pawtucket Community Players, CCRI, WWVHS, RI Theatre Ensemble, Met Charter School, Epic Theatre, & Newport Dinner Train.

Gladys has worked for the past seven years at Warwick Veterans High School as the Drama Coach, Hip-Hop, Theatre, & Creative Dance teacher for the past three years at The Boys & Girls Club of Cumberland/Lincoln RI, & Map a non-profit organization working with at risk youth in Providence teaching playwriting skills as well as dramaturgy & director.  As a teacher and director, Gladys has directed theatre productions at CCRI, RI College, Epic Theatre, Map, Next-Generation theatre, Chorographer at JV Doyle School & last fall 2013 she’d launch GCole Production.
