Please come to hear two thoughtful Rhode Islanders discuss important initiatives in Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign.
Dr. J. Mark Ryan, R.I. Physician and chair of the Rhode Island chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program on Medicare for All.
Lauren Niedel, Democratic Committee Woman, staunch opponent of the Burrillville power plant, and a driving force in Bernie’s 2016 R.I. Primary Victory, on Saving the Environment.
The library opens at 1:00 pm. The program will begin promptly at 1:30 and end at 3:00. After the presentations, the remaining time will be devoted to discussions led by each of the speakers.
June 1 is the date of the HOPE STREET SPRING BLOCK PARTY (from Seven Stars to Rochambeau), which will bring lots of people into the Rochambeau Library area and will make parking difficult.
Please save the date, arrive early, and block party later!
