The Devil We Know

Documentary film presented by Clean Water Action, Climate Action Rhode Island, The Savvy Women's Alliance, Toxic Action Center, Conservation Law Foundation, and The Whale Guitar Project.

This is Stephanie Soechtig's documentary showing how 3M and DuPont have made billions by exposing us to toxic chemicals used in the making of Teflon coatings. Known as PFA’s, these chemicals were originally leaked into a stream in West Virginia, and are now found in waterways throughout the planet as well as in fish, wildlife and nearly all people in the industrialized world. We'll take some time to have a discussion about how PFAS impacts Rhode Island.
