The New England First Amendment Coalition will present its ongoing community conversation, “First Amendment and the Free Press,” from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wedensday, June 26, at the Providence Community Library, Olneyville Branch, 1 Olneyville Square in Providence, R.I.

LINDA BORG | Borg has been a reporter at The Providence Journal for 35 years, the last 15 covering public education and, more recently, Rhode Island colleges.
STEVEN BROWN | Brown is executive director of the ACLU of Rhode Island and has served in the role for more than 30 years. He also served as executive director of the Iowa Civil Liberties Union and worked at the Philadelphia ACLU.
STEPH MACHADO | Machado joined WPRI in June 2015 as a reporter. She covers politics and general assignment news, holding government officials accountable at the Rhode Island State House and tracking crime and punishment in Southern New England.
G. WAYNE MILLER (moderator) | Miller is a staff writer at The Providence Journal and a Visiting Fellow at Salve Regina University’s Pell Center for International Relations and Public Policy, where he is co-founder and director of the Story in the Public Square program.
