Do you think it's too late to plant a vegetable garden? There are many vegetables that grow well in cool weather and July is the time to get them started for a fall harvest. Sandra Cook, a URI Master Gardener, will give a presentation on growing vegetables for a fall harvest. Following the presentation there will be an interactive, hands on make and take session. Participants are asked to bring a large bowl or old colander to seed a “salad bowl” with mixed lettuce seeds. Seeds and soil will be provided. Parents are encouraged to bring their children.
