Mighty Earth Rhode Island is a local environmental organization. We are
hosting a panel on the environmental impacts of our current food system, and
efforts to make it more sustainable. Speakers from local environmental and
farm organizations will weigh in. Event is free and all are welcome!

At the Food, Farming, and Our Future event, a panel of local experts will
discuss the changes we need to see in our food system to stop water
pollution, fight climate change, and create healthy food for all people. We
will discuss the role of individuals, corporations, and policy change in
shaping a better food system. *Co-hosted by Johnson & Wales Student Activists
Supporting Sustainabilty*

Factory farming is growing all across the country - and coming to Rhode
Island with the construction of a new meat processing plant in North
Kingstown
(https://www.wpri.com/business-news/ri-leaders-break-ground-on-new-meat-processing-facility/1520281347).
We need to see reforms to protect our water and build a food system that
works better for people and the planet. Come to this Food, Farms, and Our
Future event to join the movement for sustainable food!
