Learn about “persistence of vision” – the name often given to the way the human brain blends sudden changes into smooth motion. This interpretation by our brains is what make movies possible!

Over the course of 5 weeks, learn a variety of stop motion animation techniques used to create illusion with RIMOSA!

Participants will experiment with object animation, cut paper animation, claymation, & pixilation. They will create characters and storyboards while working to create their own Stop Motion Animation Films.

Children will also have the ability to utilize the 3D printer and guidance from the PVD Young Makers Lab.

For school-age kids and teens. Class space limited - please sign up by calling the library or emailing
